In the late 1800’s, engineers at Purdue worked on steam locomotive that was fully functional.

The builders of those modern era machines? Craftsmen that later became known as boilermakers.

More than a few decades later, Nathan Weneta’s craft for shotgunning a football 15 yards in under a second – certainly faster than any railcar at full speed – has garnered a scholarship to the Big 10 program.

But before you call him a Boilermaker, you ought to call him a music maker.
