SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The County Health and Human Services Agency has not yet received results from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the person under investigation for possible infection with the new strain of coronavirus. They expect to receive it Friday.
But, concerns are still high over the coronavirus outbreak. As the death toll from the virus continues to rise in China, health officials in the United States are awaiting word if a person in San Diego has the virus.
This week, a flight from China landed at the Tijuana airport, health officials were prepared to check every passenger for symptoms, they were all clear.
Medical Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Rady Children’s Hospital, Dr. John Bradley, joined us on Good Morning San Diego to tell us more about the outbreak.
