Drought Watch: Finding a solution for San Diego and the drought

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Finding a solution for San Diegans and the drought was the goal of Mayor Faulconer’s meeting with Governor Brown Tuesday.

In the past few years, San Diego has taken many steps to address the drought.

One of them, The Pure Water San Diego Program.

The program aims to provide a safe, reliable and cost-effective drinking water supply for the city that will help residents become more independent against the drought and other national disasters.

Councilmember Chris Cate from the sixth district spoke with KUSI about how the program works.
