EAST VILLAGE: Police looking for man accused of stabbing another

San Diego police were on the lookout Wednesday for a 23-year-old man who stabbed a 19-year-old man multiple times with a small knife
during a fight in downtown's East Village, authorities said.

The stabbing in the 1500 block of Imperial Avenue was reported at 5:49
p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego police Sgt. David Jennings. All of the
victim's stab wounds were considered minor, the sergeant said in a statement.

The motive for the fight was unclear.

Police were looking for a 23-year-old Hispanic man around 5-feet-9, with
a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and jeans, Jennings
said.
