ECOLIFE Conservation uses unique stoves for conservation of Monarch butterflies

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Every year, the Monarch butterfly migrates to a forest that is being affected by deforestation.

People in the region of the Monarch butterfly biosphere reserve in Mexico are cutting down the Fir trees to use for firewood.

ECOLIFE Conservation is a program that has come up with a unique idea to reduce the amount of wood that people would need.

Executive Director for ECOLIFE Conservation Anne Middleton was at KUSI to talk about their conservation efforts.
