Eddie Gallagher reunites with his family after President Trump steps in to help
Navy Seal Eddie Gallagher is being charged in the death of an Iraqi war prisoner and has been held in the MCAS Miramar Brig. Hours after President Trump tweeted, “In honor of his past service to our Country, Navy Seal #EddieGallagher will soon be moved to less restrictive confinement while he awaits his day in court. Process should move quickly! @foxandfriends @RepRalphNorman” the Navy Seal was released from the Brig and is now being held in less constrictive confinement.
Wednesday night, Eddie’s wife posted this message and photo to the “Free Eddie Gallagher” Facebook page:

It has been a whirlwind since Eddie was released from the brig on 3/30 and we wanted to give you and update on what we are currently facing behind the scenes ❤️

Family means everything to us. After 8 combat deployments over the past 15 years, we cherish every waking moment we have together. This is why we’re so incredibly grateful that President Trump exercised true leadership in granting us time together as we fight the battle of our lives against false charges.????

Sadly, even after an order from our Commander in Chief, Navy bureaucrats are still trying to pry our family apart and threatening to throw Eddie back in the brig. ????????

Eddie has already received multiple threats in the past 72 hours by Commander Rosenbloom that they are tying to throw him back in the brig… Why you ask? Well now they won’t respond after being called into question about these threats by @repralphnorman & @rep_hunter Office’s who have continued to advocate for us during this asinine situation. ????

We are so thankful for @realdonaldtrump and we thought this would be a chance for our family to find some normalcy but the reality is they will stop at nothing to manipulate this case – evening defying an order from the President of the United States. ????????

On Saturday March 30, 2019 our father, husband, brother, son, and decorated war hero, Eddie Gallagher, was finally moved into conditions that will allow him to receive the medical care he needs and deserves, and also the opportunity to adequately and fully prepare for his trial with his legal team.
