El Cajon fire causes $125K in damage

EL CAJON (CNS) – An investigation was under way Friday into what sparked a fire that caused an estimated $125,000 in damage to an El Cajon home, authorities said.

The nonnon-injuryre at 1753 Woodburn St. was reported at 6:21 p.m. Thursday, according to El Cajon city spokeswoman Monica Zech.

Crews had the blaze knocked down within 10 minutes of arriving on scene, she said in a statement.
