Elderly woman hits motorcyclist with car
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A 70-year-old woman drove her Kia through a red light while making a right turn Wednesday, sideswiping a 27-year-old riding his motorcycle north on Ruffin Road, breaking his left femur, police said.
The woman was making a right turn from Waxie Way onto Ruffin Road, said Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.
The injuries are not believed to be life threatening, Heims said.
