Elon Musk raises an additional $7B in Twitter financing

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Elon Musk has been getting some pretty big backing to buy Twitter.

The Tesla CEO recently raised just over $7 billion in financing so far.

The investors include Oracle Founder, Larry Ellison, Crypto-currency platform Binance, and Venture Capital firms Sequoia and ‘Andreessen Horowitz’.

Musk had already raised $46.5 billion, including loans through financial institutions.

This new infusion means musk can reduce his personal debt but it also means officials with those companies could join Musk on Twitter’s Board of Administrators.

Kevin Paffrath, social media and financial analyst joined KUSI’s Jason Austell on “Good Evening San Diego” to talk more about financing the Twitter deal.
