Ensuring quality emergency care for people living with dementia

San Diego (KUSI) – More than 650,000 Californians are living with Alzheimer’s. 84,000 of them are in San Diego. A new California bill requires all EMT’s in the state to undergo training on how to communicate with people with dementia. Bernard Molloy from the lakeside fire district joined KUSI in discussing the training.
