Escondido woman injured following rollover crash
ESCONDIDO (KUSI) – A 33-year-old woman remained hospitalized Monday following a rollover crash at an Escondido intersection.
The driver of a 2011 Scion apparently lost control while turning from southbound Autopark Way onto Hale Avenue shortly before 3:30 p.m. Sunday, according to an Escondido police statement. The car went up onto the sidewalk, stuck a guy wire and overturned, partially ejecting the driver.
The Escondido woman was taken to Palomar Medical Center to be treated for serious head and neck injuries, police said.
