Esther Valdes on appeals court migrant hygiene ruling
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A federal appeals court ruled on Thursday that soap and toothbrushes can be required for detained children.
The Trump administration had argues that “safe and sanitary” conditions do not specifically require access to items such as those.
A 9th U.S. Circuit of Appeals ruled that a lower court had the right to specify what “safe and sanitary” conditions were required.
