Evacuation orders after gas pipeline breaks in the College area

SAN DIEGO – Evacuations were ordered on Friday afternoon in the College area at 55th and Adams Ave., after SDG&E accidentally broke a gas pipeline.

SDG&E was able to control the gas leak, and San Diego Police and Fire responded to the scene.

Residents were allowed to return to their homes.
