Family of Hanukkah attack victim call for end to hatred

NEW YORK (KUSI) – The family of the man stabbed multiple times during an attack n the seventh night of Hanukkah is calling for an end to hatred.

The family released a graphic photo of Josef Neumann, showing the extent of the injuries he sustained in the knife attack this weekend.

Neumann’s daughter gave an impassioned speech today in light of the recent events.

“We want our kids to go to school and feel safe, we want to go to synagogues and feel safe, we want to go to groceries and malls and feel safe,” she said in a press report. “We hope he wakes to a world of peace, unity and love.”
