Farmer’s Insurance Open Golf Tournament starts Thursday

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Wednesday marked the opening day for the Farmer’s Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course. It’s considered to be San Diego’s most prestigious golf tournament.

  • Gate Open – 5:45 a.m.

Zurich Pro-Am, North and South Courses

  • 1st set of tee times – 6:40 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
  • 2nd set of tee times – 11:10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

OPENING DAY – THURSDAY, JANUARY 28

  • Gates Open – 7:00 a.m.
  • Opening Ceremonies, 1st Tee South – 8:15 a.m.
  • Opening Round, North and South Courses – 9:00 a.m.
  • Broadcasting: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Golf Channel

FRIDAY, JANUARY 29

  • Gates Open – 7:00 a.m.
  • Second Round, North and South Courses – 9:00 a.m.
