Fatal motorcycle accident victim identified

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Authorities Monday identified the 39-year-old man killed when his motorcycle collided with a car in Pacific Beach over the weekend.

Matthew J. Dunn died at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla shortly after the crash, which occurred in the 2700 block of Garnet Avenue near Bond Street about 3:45 p.m. Sunday, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.

Dunn was riding his 1999 Ducati westbound when the driver of an Acura TSX turned left in front of him and he was unable to stop in time, authorities said.
