February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month and according to the Family and Youth Services Bureau, each year, nearly 1.5 million high school students nationwide experience physical abuse from a dating partner.

San Diego County Board member Mark Powell stopped by Good Morning San Diego to talk about the signs of Teen Dating Violence and share the resources that are available to teens, parents, teachers and school administrators to help prevent this type of abuse
