Federal agents raid South Bay home
NATIONAL CITY (CNS) – Federal agents searched a National City home Tuesday
and arrested a suspected drug dealer.
U.S. Homeland Security agents raided a two-story home in the 800 block
of K Avenue, just west of Interstate 805, police and Immigration and Customs
Enforcement agents said.
Authorities detained several people, and one was arrested on suspicion
of drug crimes, Lauren Mack of ICE said. He will be prosecuted under state law,
according to ICE. His name was not made public.
Unspecified weapons and some ammunition was seized, Mack said. She said
she did not know if the person arrested in National City was linked to a cross-
border drug dealing operation.
