Fire damages El Cajon home
EL CAJON (KUSI) — A fire heavily damaged a home in an El Cajon neighborhood Monday, but no one was injured.
The fire in the 600 block of North Pierce Street near Wagner Drive was reported shortly before 8 a.m., according to Heartland Fire & Rescue. The blaze rendered the home uninhabitable, a fire dispatcher said.
Fire officials asked residents and motorists to avoid the area.
