Fire damages Hillcrest pet supply store

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A fire damaged a pet-supply store in Hillcrest Monday.

Flames began spreading through the building in the 1200 block of
University Avenue about 1:30 p.m., and it took firefighters about 25 minutes to
put out the fire, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.

No injuries were reported. How the fire started was not immediately known.
