Firefighters fight structure fire in Linda Vista
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – 6:50 a.m. – The fire displaced two people and caused about $350,000 in damages.
SDFRD spokesman Lee Swanson said firefighters had a difficult time accessing the first floor because the main entrance was on the second level. But crews had the non-injury blaze knocked down in about 25 minutes and kept it from spreading to adjoining units.
The American Red Cross helped the displaced residents with temporary lodging, Swanson said.
Sunday 4:08 p.m. – Fully-involved structure fire in Linda Vista, on Basilio Road.
Fire on the first floor of the structure has been knocked down. Second floor is still involved.
