Five people displaced by Carlsbad apartment fire

CARLSBAD (KUSI) – Five people were displaced early Wednesday morning when an apartment building in Carlsbad went up in flames.

The fire was reported just after 2 a.m., and broke out at 935 Laguna Drive.

It was not immediately clear as to what the cause of the fire might have been. The Red Cross was planning to assist the displaced individuals in looking for new accommodations.
