Flavors of San Diego is a culinary fundraiser for the American Liver Foundation

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Flavors of San Diego is a culinary fundraiser that provides guests with the opportunity of having a top local chef prepare a multi-course tableside dinner.  The event is also the American Liver Foundation’s largest fundraising event of the year.

Liver disease affects 1 in 10 Americans in their lifetime. The American Liver Foundation is dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of viral hepatitis and other liver diseases through research, education and advocacy on behalf of those affected by or at risk of liver disease. Proceeds from the Gala will directly benefit the American Liver Foundation’s Pacific Coast Division, helping the Foundation in the fight against all liver diseases.

Laurie Ganz, Events Manager at the American Liver Foundation, was at KUSI along with Chef  Lety McKenzie and Chef Dominique Cancio from Hijas Del Maiz, a pop-up dinner series.
