For Craig Cunningham, love of hockey is all about heart
Craig Cunningham took a long road to make it as a professional hockey player. He truly put his life and his heart into the sport he loves. He was just 26 years only when he collapsed on the ice from a cardiac arrest during the opening ceremonies at a Tucson Roadrunners game on November 19, 2016. Cunningham’s heart stopped beating for over 80 minutes. The cardiac arrest affected the circulation to his left leg, resulting in an amputation below the knee. The change in live, never stopped him from living.
