Former State Senator Joel Anderson in the running for District 2 Supervisor

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – District 2 is one of three supervisor seats being contested, and both candidates have the money, the big name endorsements and the name recognition to make this a bruising, high dollar race.

Both candidates also have a record of accomplishments. Steve Vaus as mayor and Joel Anderson in Sacramento.

Joel Anderson has spent the last 12 years as a minority in Sacramento where the Democrats didn’t need a single Republican to pass anything they wanted to pass. But Anderson says if you put your constituents first, party labels won’t matter.

Anderson says he has a lot to bring to the Board of Supervisors, but it’s up to the voters to decide who will take District 2.
