SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A cold storm will move into the area this afternoon with periods of snow showers and gusty westerly winds through Thursday night. Snow showers could linger near the mountains into Friday.

A winter storm warning remains in effect from 1:00 PM Wednesday afternoon to 1:00 AM Friday.
