Free mammograms to be provided at Qualcomm Stadium

provided for 70 uninsured women ages 40 and older Tuesday at Qualcomm
Stadium.

If additional women need to be served, they will receive a mammogram on
a later date, the San Diego Chargers, who are underwriting the costs of the
mammograms in connection with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Women under 40 needing assistance will be directed to another program
provided the needed help.

All participants will also receive a primary medical placement, which is
important for following up each year. Additional breast health information
will also be available.

The mammograms will be provided from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Women may call (619) 508-8088 to ask if they qualify.

“Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a cause that really hits close to
home for me,” said A.G. Spanos, the Chargers' executive vice president and
chief executive officer. “My mom is a breast cancer survivor and from her
experience I know how vital early detection can be.”
