From the Ground Up! & Full Speed Ahead!

Monday, March 26, 2012 – KUSI'S Michael Turko has new information on two long running stories that have one thing in common. They're both about government projects that are taking far longer than they should. Four years ago a north county little league was struggling to get their home fields back. Last month construction work finally got started but it's a far cry from a home run, in fact, it looks like the little league may have to rebuild the whole place by themselves from the ground up!

A file opened eleven years ago back in two thousand one, the city of Encinitas is finally ready to start building a huge public park that's had more setbacks than successes so far. City officials say they're finally ready to ask for bids and get the job moving full speed ahead!
