Gas prices begin to rise in San Diego County

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose 1.1 cents today to $3.744 after dropping
seven of the past eight days.

Despite the increase, the average price is 1.5 cents less than one week ago and 8 cents lower than one month ago, but 8.8 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price dropped three consecutive days, rose three-tenths of a cent on Sunday, then resumed dropping on Monday, including decreasing eight-tenths of a cent on Thursday.
