Gaslamp makeover includes modernization of historic archway

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – It took decades for the city of San Diego to begin realizing the Gaslamp Promenade — a vision that San Diego legislators have sought to make a reality for years.

Now, construction is underway and even the Gaslamp archway sign is getting a little love.
