1)  Donuts & Beer

Part of San Diego Beer Week 2015 , this event at The Local Eatery in downtown San Diego pairs donuts and craft beer for a match made in sweet, sudsy heaven. Each session (seating is at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.) includes four specially-selected donuts from Donut Bar paired with four local craft brews: one from Stone Brewing Co., one from Coronado Brewing Company, one from Ballast Point. The last participating brewery is being kept secret until the event. Tickets cost $30 per person, and space is limited, so hop on this early.

2) San Diego Cheese and Beer Festival

Saturday November 14th
1 p.m., Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens at Liberty Station
The San Diego Cheese and Beer Festival , part of San Diego Beer Week , will bring the best of both tasty worlds together at Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens at Liberty Station. Attendees will be treated to a selection of Stone’s high-quality brews paired an array of artisan cheeses. Live music and games will round out this event. All proceeds will be given to the East County Transitional Living Center, where the funds will contribute to helping get people back on their feet.

1) Brewery Olympics: Total Tap Takeover

Friday November 13th
6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Coin Op North Park
Another San Diego Beer Week event, this first-ever "Brewery Olympics" is described as a "video game-style" tournament that pits local breweries against one another for ultimate beer bragging rights. Of course, the video game element is fitting given the location: Coin Op North Park is both a bar and arcade gameroom, or "barcade," if you will. The competition will boast rare releases from San Diego-based breweries such as Stone, Mother Earth, Pizza Port, The Lost Abbey and Modern Times, among others.

2) Gaslamp Rodeo
