SAN DIEGO (KUSI) -Georgeanne Irvine from San Diego Zoo Global joined KUSI in studio.

Irvine has devoted more than 40 years of her career to raising awareness about animals and conservation for San Diego Zoo Global.

She is the author of two dozen children’s books about animals, including the zoo’s award-winning hope and inspiration collection.
