Georgette Gomez’s campaign for the 53rd Congressional District

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Candidate Georgette Gomez joins KUSI to discuss her campaign in the race for the 53rd Congressional District.

Gomez is the current President of the San Diego City Council and former Associate Director of the Environment Health Coalition.

Gomez’s campaign focuses on expanding housing and healthcare and reducing homelessness. She hopes to invest in public transit and infrastructure and defend immigrants’ rights.
