GRACEDBYGRIT scholarship fund for young female athletes

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The GRACEDBYGRIT Foundation recognizes young women who participate in athletics as an opportunity to discover and develop their grit while embracing their grace.

The organization has created the GRACEDBYGRIT Scholarship Fund to honor female student-athletes, pursuing collegiate level athletics, who have demonstrated grit by overcoming obstacles and adversity in their personal lives.

Applications are currently being accepted through March 15.

The winner of the GRACEDBYGRIT Foundation scholarship fund will be awarded $5,000 and the winner will be announced on April 15.

The GRACEDBYGRIT foundation’s main sponsor, HYLETE, has committed to contribute 1% of its women’s product sales throughout the year to empower girls to embrace their GRIT through the student-athlete scholarship fund. HYLETE is a San Diego-based performance apparel and training brand that is community built, backed and driven, founded in 2012. The GRACEDBYGRIT Foundation is part of HYLETE’s broader charity program, where HYLETE partners with charities around the country that underscore the core beliefs of the HYLETE community.
