Grant Hill woman robbed at gunpoint
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Two men claiming to need measurements from a 73-year-old woman’s Grant Hill home robbed her at gunpoint of money and a game console, police said.
The victim was home alone, working in her yard at 28th and K streets, when the suspects drove up in a small black SUV around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego police Officer Dan Lasher.
The suspects told the victim they needed to enter her house and take measurements, but she declined, Lasher said. One man then pulled a handgun and forced her inside, took the cash and console and fled.
Lasher said the victim waited until her family members returned to the home to report the robbery. She was not injured.
