Grocery store security guard unharmed after robbery

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A Ralphs security guard was unharmed after being robbed at knifepoint early Tuesday morning.

The incident took place just after 3 a.m. at the downtown Ralphs on G Street and First Avenue.

The guard was in uniform at the time of the robbery, when an unidentified suspect approached him with a knife and took his wallet. The suspect was apprehended a short time later.
