Grossmont College 50th Anniversary Celebration

KUSI-TV
has been named the exclusive TV sponsor of the Grossmont College 50th
anniversary celebration to be held April 13 and 14 on the El Cajon
campus. Like never before, Grossmont College is opening its doors over
two action-packed days for an unprecedented, family-oriented educational
opportunity to experience college, plus lots of fun.

Starting
at 6:30 p.m. on Friday night, enjoy student musical performances and an
old-fashioned Sock Hop Dance in the Main Gym with a live band playing
classic tunes from the ‘50s,'60s and'70s.

On
Saturday, come and meet KUSI-TV weathercaster and feature reporter Dave
Scott who will be at Grossmont College during the “Good Morning San
Diego” live broadcast.

Also
on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the college is host a Community
Open House featuring dozens of hands-on, interactive demonstrations and
exhibits, lunch from 12 gourmet food trucks and help Grossmont College
set history with a world record attempt at noon. There's something for
everybody!

Music
lovers, foodies, dancers, amateur scientists, artists, CSI fans, poets,
fitness and health devotees, theater lovers, techies, gamers, math
whizzes are all invited to celebrate Grossmont College's golden moment
