Harbor Drive crash victim identified

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Authorities Monday identified an Alpine man killed in a
rear-ender crash in the Harborview section of San Diego.

Michael Jay Glantz, 62, was fatally injured in the crash around 7:10
p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Grape Street and Harbor Drive,
according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office. He was
pronounced dead at the scene.

Glantz was driving alone in a
2010 Hyundai Elantra when he was struck from behind by a Dodge Charger,
sending the victim's smaller sedan into a third vehicle that was in
front of the Elantra, the ME's Office reported.

Two others were
also injured in the crash. They were taken to a hospital, but the
extents of their injuries were not immediately released.
