Haunted Halloween highlights around San Diego

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — The San Diego Police Department Southeastern Division was transformed Monday into a haunted station for their 2nd annual Trunk-or-Treat event.

Around 300 kids were sentenced to five whole minutes in the scary haunted station, punished with bags of candy and then placed behind bars, candy bars that is.

The patients at Rady Childrens Hospital also had some super visitors.

Batman, Superman and Spiderman all showed up to clean the windows. Every year, window cleaners suit up in superhero gear for Halloween and surprise the kids.

The tradition returned Monday when they scaled the building, showing off their costumes and their capes.

The kids also got to meet Captain American, The Flash and Green Lantern.
