Children born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, have social, educational and behavioral disabilities.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates up to 5 of every 100 school children in the U.S. have life-long physical and/or developmental disabilities because their mothers consumed alcohol during pregnancy.
And it’s completely preventable.
