Helen Woodward Animal Center Adopt-A-Pet: Meet Rays

Holly Mendell from Helen Woodward Animal Center visited the studio Sunday to introduce Rays, a two month-old Terrier blend dog up for adoption.

Rays came in with 3 other siblings (also named after “R” baseball teams) from the desert area. Rays and his sister went to stay with one of our foster families until he was ready to be adopted. His other 3 siblings will be going to an event later Sunday, so will not be going available at the same time as him. Rays will stay small, so will do well smaller homes or apartments. The foster doesn’t have any kids or personal pets, but Rays loves to play with his sister so would probably love to have a playmate, whether human, canine, or otherwise!

All pets adopted from Helen Woodward Animal Center have been spayed or neutered, have up-to-date vaccinations and microchip identification.

Helen Woodward Animal Center is located at 6523 Helen Woodward Way in Rancho Santa Fe. Kennels are open daily Monday through Wednesday from 1pm to 6pm; Thursday and Friday from 1pm to 7pm; Saturdays 10am to 6pm; and Sunday 11am to 6pm (last application accepted 15 minutes before closing).
