Helen Woodward Animal Center seeks home for a special pair of puppies

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Helen Woodward Animal Center is seeking a home for a special pair of puppies.

One puppy who goes by the name of Star is deaf and nearly blind and so she relies on her brother ‘Denver’ to be her guide.
Jessica Gercke with the Helen Woodward Animal Center said the two arrived from Louisiana on February 11th from the Heart of Louisiana rescue center with a group of other dogs. But out of the whole litter, Denver and Star immediately bonded, and that is why they were asking for a special family who is able to take care of both of the puppies.
Certified master dog trainer, Rob Kuty will be available to the family who takes Star and Denver home. He will provide his expertise on training a special needs dog.
Star and Denver will be available Wednesday February 26th at The Helen Woodward Animal Center. It’s first come first serve.
