Helen Woodward Animal Center takes in injured Pomeranian and her fluffy puppies

RANCHO SANTA FE (KUSI) – The Helen Woodward Animal Center gave a Pomeranian and her puppies a place to stay during the holidays.

The mother Pomeranian named Sugar had recently been hit by a car and injured, she had five tiny puppies.

Sugar had been taken to a San Diego shelter until Helen Woodward Animal Center made their Christmas wish come true and opened their doors. Sugar and her baby Pomeranians would need extra help, but the center’s medical and foster staff jumped on the opportunity to help.

Now a foster family will take care of Sugar and her puppies until they’re all ready for adoption in the New Year.
