High-speed chase ends in Southcrest crash

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A high-speed police chase ended with a man in custody after he crashed his vehicle into a parked car in the Southcrest area early Wednesday, police said.

The crash at 40th Street and National Avenue occurred around 9:45 a.m, according to San Diego police Officer Frank Cali.

A passenger was also detained at the scene. No other details were immediately available, Cali said.
