High Tea event raises money and support for survivors of domestic violence

District Attorney Summer Stephan joined Good Morning San Diego to raise awareness for the upcoming High Tea event Sunday, March 25.

High Tea is an event where hundred are dressed in their finest hats, coming together to raise funds and support survivors of domestic violence.

3: The number of women murdered every day by a current or former male partner in the U.S.

20: The number of people per minute that are physically abused by their partner – 1 in 4 are men.

35: The percentage of women worldwide who will experience physical and or sexual abouse by an intimate partner during their lifetimes.

20,000 The number of calls placed to domestic violence hotlines every day.
