Hiker severely injured falling down Cowles Mountain Trail

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A hiker was severely injured Saturday when he feel and rolled down Cowles Mountain Trail.

The San Diego Fire-Rescue dispatcher said the accident happened around 9:00 a.m. and the man is in this 30s.

“He fell and rolled down an embankment 30 to 45 feet,” the dispatcher said. “He severely injured his arm.”

A helicopter was dispatched to take the injured man to a hospital.
