Hillary Clinton campaigns in Atlantic City outside Trump Plaza

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — FBI Director James Comey has been called to testify before the House Oversight Committee on Thursday.

The move comes after Comey announced Tuesday that the FBI would not prosecute former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for her private email server use.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz calls the FBI’s recommendation "surprising and confusion," saying that Clinton clearly violated the law.

The hearing is set for Thursday at 10 a.m. on Capitol Hill.

Clinton is doing her best to put the email scandal and investigation behind her.

She was in Atlantic City Wednesday, holding a rally and talking to casino workers on strike.

Clinton decided to ignore the fallout concerning the email scandal.

She met with workers on strike outside the Trump Taj Mahal Casino.

Although the casino is no longer owned and operated by Donald Trump, Clinton warns that strikes like this are possible under a Trump presidency.

On the campaign trail, Clinton said she will also accept Bernie Sanders recommendation concerning free college tuition.

On the Republican side, Trump is holding a rally in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The event is a joint campaign event with possible VP choice, Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

Trump did announce Wednesday his campaign raised $51 million since May.

This is the single biggest fundraising haul by Trump since he became the presumptive nominee.

But Wednesday, it wasn’t about fundraising. It was about his opponent, Hillary Clinton.
