Hit-and-run driver hits 56-year-old woman in Torrey Pines
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – San Diego police Monday sought the hit-and-run driver who struck a 56-year-old woman on a Torrey Pines-area road.
The woman, who was being treated for a brain bleed, a broken right ankle and cuts on the back of her head and right leg, was walking north in a bike lane along Gilman Drive approaching Via Alicante shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday when she was struck by , San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said.
Heims said the suspect vehicle — a black Dodge, Chrysler minivan or a Jeep Grand Cherokee — was missing its passenger-side mirror and wheel-well molding.
