Homicide detectives investigating strange death in North Park

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — The man found unresponsive in North Park Thursday in what appeared to be a homicide has been identified Tuesday.

An investigation was launched by homicide detectives who found 56-year-old San Diego resident Miles Hall unconscious and not breathing, police said.

After several phone calls to 9-1-1 reported a person was down on the 3200 block of El Cajon Boulevard Thursday around 10 p.m., responding officers found a man believed to be in his late 40s unconscious and not breathing, San Diego police homicide Lt. Ray Valentin said.

The officers attempted to revive the man before paramedics arrived. The man had major trauma to his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, Valentine said.
