Homicide investigation after one dead, two injured in Lincoln Park

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A homicide investigation was underway today after one person died and two others were injured in Lincoln Park.

The San Diego Police Department responded to reports of the shooting in the 4700 block of Nogal Street around 2:30 a.m. A 20-year-old man was reportedly found with at least one gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to media reports.

Two teenage girls were also reportedly shot and taken to a hospital, according to reports. A description of the shooter was not immediately available. SDPD’s Homicide Unit was investigating the shooting.
